Cockcroft Surgery At The University of Brighton

The Cockcroft surgery is open during term times only between 8.30am and 12 noon. The doctors work at this surgery on certain days only as below:

All patients can make appointments at their own surgery or at the main surgery.

This surgery has a triage system. The aim of this is to improve the availability of doctors’ appointments. It means that, if you telephone for an emergency appointment your call will be directed to a practice nurse who will give you immediate advice or make an appointment with the appropriate person. If you wish to pre-book a non-emergency appointment, please inform the receptionist.

OUT OF HOURS

If you need to consult a doctor outside this practice's normal working hours, please ring the doctor's out-of-hours service (South East Health) on 08454 565420. This service is for emergencies, ie those that cannot wait for a normal surgery. You may be asked to visit the out-of-hours surgery or a home visit may be arranged depending on circumstances.
