The receptionists are your first point of contact with the practice. They are often under pressure and, while they are trained to do a difficult job well, your patience at busy times can be greatly appreciated.

Any information they ask you for is intended to help them assess the best way that the practice can help you. The receptionists at the main surgery are:

Janet Cane Linda Novis
Katie Grundy Jackie Diplock
Lyn Spencer-Smith
Jackie Hards - Nurses' Receptionist Linda Chapman - Nurses' Receptionist

There are relief receptionists: Doreen Broomfield, Yvonne Raysford, Nicola Halfacree and Linda Fogden.

Other members of the reception team include Linda Chapman, Juliet Bartley and Christine Hargrove at Islingword Road and Victoria Joseph at the University.

Medical Students

The practice occasionally takes student doctors from the Medical School to aid training, but patients never have to be seen by students if they do not wish to.
